We are delighted to introduce our collection of brand new tours for 2023 and 2024. Our experts have designed a range of exciting new itineraries that will showcase the very best of archaeology, history and culture, in fascinating destinations all over the world.
There are many highlights among our new tours that are sure to interest those captivated by the world of archaeology. Our new tour of Turkey includes a visit to Göbekli Tepe, a remarkable early Neolithic complex in upper Mesopotamia that pre-dates Stonehenge by an impressive 7,500 years, as well as Çatal Hüyük, considered one of the oldest settlements anywhere in the world and exceptional in its layout of closely packed houses with roof access into the buildings.
On our extensive tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe, we will take you to two iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The first is the famous caves at Sterkfontein, where finds include the 2.1-million-year-old Australopithecus skull along with “Little Foot”, an almost complete skeleton more than 3-million years old, and the second is the Great Zimbabwe, where you can explore the extensive stone ruins of an African Iron Age city built between 1100 and 1450 CE.
