Poland covers a large area in the centre of Europe and throughout the ages it has attracted many people who settled here, taking advantage of the fertile soils and valuable resources such as amber and salt. Our journey visits not only great cities with wonderful architecture but also many museums, cathedrals, castles and prehistoric sites often in remote countryside areas.

  • Visit the lakeside Bronze Age site of Biskupin
  • Walk among the ancient stone circles of northern Poland
  • Explore the extraordinary salt mines dating back to the 13th century
