Morocco is ‘the land of the furthest West’ (the Maghreb) with perennially startling landscape, cedar forests, rolling deserts and mountains. Positioned between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, there is exoticism here created by the various influences which have washed against the north-west corner of Africa. Phoenician traders, Roman and French colonists, Islamic conquerors, scholars and traders from Andalucía have all left their marks upon this country.

  • Explore the abandoned Roman capital of Volubilis
  • Discover a land though centuries old, traditions continue to thrive
  • Catapult backwards in time in Fez, the most complete Medieval city of the Arab world
  • Visit the Tour Hassan, the unfinished red sandstone minaret of what should have been the world’s largest mosque
